Private transfer Orba - Alicante Train Station
Alicante Train Station transfer connects to the main tourist town of Orba.
Orba is a small town of Marina Alta in the Valencian Community, Spain.
It is situated in the River Gerona valley and is bordered by Pego to the north; Benidoleig and Ondara to the north-east; Jalón and Pedreguer to the east and Parcent and Alcalali to the south.
Orba is one of the larger towns in the Orba Valley of which Benidoleig, Sagra, Tormos, Sanet y Negrals, Beniarbeig, Rafol d’Almunia and Benimeli are also part of.
Orba is ideally located just minutes from the motorway and the N332 and has the two international airports of Valencia and Alicante an hour and twenty minutes away by car.
The Old Town provides a more authentic Spanish village vibe. Orba is set amongst the orange groves and the higher lying villas have sweeping views across the valley and orange groves.
Orba is a thriving inland town with all the hustle and bustle you would expect from a traditional Spanish town. Very pretty buildings, the town hall is situated next to the cultural centre. The church is in the heart of the town Plaza DÉspanga and is surrounded by coffee shops and bars.
In addition to the indigenous population, the town and surrounding area is now home to expatriates from throughout the European Union, many of whom are permanent residents and are gainfully employed within the local community.
For your Alicante train station transfer once you leave the train, proceed to the arrivals hall and immediately on your left you will see a restaurant called CAFESTORE. Our guide / driver will be waiting for you outside this establishment with a Beniconnect sign, where you will be directed to where your uniformed driver and vehicle are waiting to transfer you to your chosen destination in Orba.
I have used this service twice already and will definitely use again in the future. Will not hesitate to recommend. Drivers are very helpful and friendly, helped me with my luggage. I had to wait a bit on my arrival at the airport for other passengers from their flights but overall the travel (from arriving to the bus stop at the airport to the destination in Calpe) took just about 15 minutes longer than by taxi at a fraction of taxi price. On the way from Calpe to the airport it was about the same time as taxi. Oh, and wi-fi is available on board.
